This is the web page of the CCLAC, Codex Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean, the subsidiary body of the Codex Alimentarius Commission for the region.
When you enter, you will be at the HOME page. From there you can go to each of Codex Alimentarius Bodies, the Commission, the Executive Committee and Subsidiary Bodies or Subject/Commodity Committees using a quick menu. Here you can also read the CCLAC NEWS, see a reminder of forthcoming meetings or choose the ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

- WHAT'S NEW?
Weekly information on the additions to the web site, facilitating visitors' direct access without the need to visit all the pages. By regularly checking "What's new?", you can easily access new documents for discussion, agendas or meetings of working groups or specific issues related to the sessions of Codex Committees, the Commission and/or the Executive Committee.
- COMMISSION
Information on the creation, officers and procedural manual of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, the highest executive body. There is a link to its activities as leading body.
- EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Information on the terms of reference and members of Codex executive body, along with a link to its activities.
- COMMITTEES
List of all Horizontal, Commodity, and Regional Committees and ad hoc Intergovernmental Task Forces. Each has a link to information on its terms of reference, its last report, its agenda and working papers, as well as the invitation to the session of the current year. You will also find a link to the monthly deadlines for the documents of the different committees, etc.
- MEETINGS
Calendar of forthcoming meetings, with a link to their agendas, and a list of past meetings with links to them. Meetings of the current month are highlighted.

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Section about problems or difficulties in past access attempts, with the answer on how to solve them. There are also some comments on the kinds of documents the body works with.
- RELATED SITES
Direct links to and a brief description of bodies associated with Codex roles.
- CHAT
Communication platform for CCLAC members only, which will facilitate the exchange of informal positions on issues proposed by the Coordination. It will enable "real time" communication with other members entering the session at the agreed date and time, also enabling the exchange of files. For access, the user name and password provided by the Coordination in due time will be needed.
- FORUM
Section for discussion of issues proposed by the Coordination. For a given period, CCLAC Members, government officials and/or general public can post their views, which will be available for other participants to read. Participants will be invited according to the discussion topic and will have to use the user name and password provided for access.
- E-LEARNING
Platform for online courses on issues that may help enhance CCLAC Members' work. In due time, information will be provided on each course and the registration date as from which passwords for access to the learning room may be obtained.
